Ravalli County Recycling is sponsoring a Glass Recycling event on Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds. Use the north entrance, not the front gate. Glass bottles and food jars of any color, washed and without lids, will be accepted. No broken glass will be allowed. Also, no window glass, windshield glass, mirrors, or drinking glasses will be accepted. Cost is $1.00 for one gallon bucketful, $5.00 for a 5-gallon bucketful.
Also on June 11, cardboard will be accepted for recycling by S&D Trucking from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $10 per yard.
