A political party has a basic premise. At least it should have. So, let’s cut to the basics. Over 70 years ago the chairman of the Communist Party USA said there was no longer a need for his party as the Democrats had adopted 70% of their agenda. The Socialist presidential candidate said the same. That has not changed. As you should be aware, socialism does not work. It merely aggravates those from whom it extorts the money and makes permanent beggars of those who get the goodies. Republicans on the other hand, generally adhere to the belief that private enterprise made America great and leave problem solving in private hands that have proven so efficient in the past. Less government and less taxes are a result of this belief. A candidate belongs to a party because his/her beliefs are those of the party. And yes, there are RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) who need to be culled from the party. Remember, there are NO FREEBIES! Government can only give you what it has taken from someone else. If you do not want government acting as a charity, vote conservative and leave charity to true charity organizations who do it much better than government does.
