By Charlie Larson, Board President, Bitter Root Water Forum
I am writing on behalf of the Bitter Root Water Forum (BRWF) to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the 15th Annual Bitterroot River Clean Up. With all that is going on in the world today, it was particularly heartening to see so many people working together to remove trash from our beautiful river. Indeed, over 90 volunteers worked to collect a total of 2,152 pounds of trash.
At BRWF, we believe that bringing people together is the best way to protect, enhance, and restore the Bitterroot River, so that it will continue to enrich the lives of current and future generations. The effort at this year’s River Cleanup shows how much this community values the Bitterroot River and exemplifies why this is such a special place to live.
Importantly, none of this would have been possible without the generous contributions of our local sponsors: thank you!
Thanks again to all of our volunteers. We hope to see everyone again next year!
