COVID-19 is serious, but it’s not even close to the leading cause of death in America.
As of today, the exaggerated number of US COVID-19 deaths is 161,729; a mere 31% of deaths caused by abortion — 518,270 abortions so far this year, as of this morning (1). Where are the draconian government overreach and business-crippling controls over this greater epidemic?
The COVID “pandemic” is a medical issue (really, its a political issue) and abortion is a moral issue. Both Pro-abortion and Anti-abortion activists refer to abortion as a “choice.” Abortion data show they both are right: The reasons given for almost all American abortions are a selfish choice:
“I’m done having children” (19%). “Can’t afford a baby” (23%). “Not ready for a child” (25%) (2).
The legal and moral arguments for abortion rest on whether an unborn baby is a person. Perhaps we could stack up the “expert” opinions on both sides of that argument to make our case (committing the logical fallacy of Argumentum Ad Populum); but there is a more definitive answer:
“For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother’s womb … Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Thy book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them.” (Psalm 139:13-16). And add to that,
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.” (Jeremiah 1:5).
The formation of a baby in its mother’s womb is an act of God. His/her days are determined by God, unless a choice is made by another to cut off those days before they begin.
It has to be obvious to all, that if left undisturbed, nearly every unborn baby will become a living person with all the legal and moral rights attributed to every person. It must be equally obvious to all, that to poison or dismember an unborn baby in its mother’s womb is morally wrong. America will never restore her greatness until America restores her goodness. Vote carefully and wisely in November.
One might argue that they do not believe in God or the Bible. To him I say with great certainty, at the moment of your death you will believe in God and the Bible — but too late.
