REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – General Contractor/Construction Manager -Ekalaka Elementary District #15 & Carter County High School-PO Box458-Ekalaka, MT 59324. Your company is invited to submit a Proposal for General contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) for the construction of a connecting corridor joining Ekalaka Elementary to Carter County High School in Ekalaka, MT. The request for proposal is part of a competitive selection process to engage a GM/CM firm to provide services for the construction of this connecting corridor. Design/Construction Phase services will be at-risk via a guaranteed maximum price (GMP). Owner is budgeting $905,000.00. It is the Owner’s expectation that the GC/CM will be able to deliver services, information and benchmarking costs which will allow the Owner to make timely and informed decisions in a compressed schedule. Jackson Contracting Group has assisted to date on the budgeting for this project. This will be an open-book, transparent process. The successful GC/CM will have the ability to self-perform work, but only through a competitive bid process for the work. Any bidding event that includes a bid from the GC/CM for work they will self-perform will require that sealed bids be received at the same time by the Owner from all bidding contractors.
