Fellowship Club
The Bitterroot Public Library’s Fellowship Club will be meeting on Thursday, November 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to discuss the book “Edgar Cayce’s Story of the Origin and Destiny of Man” by Lytle W. Robinson.
A masterful work of compilation, synthesis, and interpretation, this thoughtful and thought provoking book presents an absorbing view of man’s past, present, and future, drawn from thousands of references in the readings and lectures of Edgar Cayce, the “sleeping prophet” whose psychic vision of history covers the stages from the dawn of creation to a startling revelation of the current millennium starting in 1998.
Lytle Robinson gives us a comprehensive interpretation of the fascinating story of our history and future here on earth, as given by the Edgar Cayce readings, addressing the many questions whose answers have eluded us all in our quest for the truth about where we come from and where we are going. Where did we come from? Why are we here on Earth? What is our purpose? What is the story of our creation? Who were the sons of gods and the daughters of men? How does mythology fit in with our history? What is our purpose and destiny in the earth?
Lytle W. Robinson is the author of numerous stories and articles which have appeared in national magazines and several studies of the life and work of Edgar Cayce published by the Cayce Foundation.
The Fellowship Club meets every second Thursday of the month in the West Meeting Room of the Bitterroot Public Library and is free and open to anyone seeking to promote individual and collective well being. Call 363-1670, or email jacostant@gmail.com for more information.
