The Corvallis boys and girls basketball teams hosted Bitterroot Valley foe Stevensville on Tuesday, January 30th. In the boys game, the experienced Corvallis squad was too much for the young ‘Jackets and won 82-31. Corvallis had a balanced attack. Dillen Potter led the scoring with 14 points, Drew Lewis had 13, Bennett Boelman had 12, Derek Criddle had 11, Aydan Mayn had 10, Cameron Whiteley had 7, Ryan Hutchison had 6, and Camron Dela Rosa and Brady Powell each added 2.
For Stevensville, Kaeden Gum had 9, Easton Hollis had 8, Jake Gavlak had 5, Treyton Patzer had 3, and Gage Bierer, Tanner Brown and Leon Vallie each added 2.
In the girls game, the Lady Blue Devils defeated Stevensville 42-28.
Corvallis
The Corvallis boys and girls hosted Dillon on Saturday, Feb. 3rd. In the boys game, Corvallis lost to #5 Dillon 42-53. In the girls game, Corvallis ran up against a buzzsaw and fell 18-70 against the #5 Lady Beavers.
Stevensville
The Stevensville Boys hosted Frenchtown on Friday, Feb. 2nd and didn’t have an answer for the #4 Broncs, losing 25-76. For Stevensville, freshman guards Kaden Wyant and Easton Hollis led the scoring with 6 each, Gage Bierer had 5, Tanner Brown had 4, and Treyton Patzer and Jake Gavlak each added 2.
