Helen, I, unlike you, when asked a question, whether in public or private, will answer honestly.
No Helen, I was not one of the “troublemakers” as you put it, that the Sheriff ordered to leave the fair “due to your unseemly behavior on two consecutive days.” As I said, I was there Thursday. Within 30 minutes of my arrival, I witnessed and suffered the unseemly actions of others with an agenda. Unfortunately, these hooligans claim to be “Republicans.”
Again Helen, your rumor-based accusation proves my statement in my previous letter, YOU WERE NOT THERE. There is a handle in these parts for people like you who amplify and spread rumors based on falsehoods and half-truths. You have earned that moniker.
My answer accompanies a renewed challenge. First, can you answer the question I asked in my first letter? Helen, where did you get the information you presented as fact in your first letter to the editor regarding the happenings at the fair, did you glean your information from the Sheriff’s report? Or interview a Deputy? If so, what was that Deputy’s name? Who is your source Helen?
Second, can you name even one agenda item that the John Birch Society stands for, according to their own publications, that you disagree with? Excepting of course, the fact that they are one of the most effective organizations protecting our U.S. Constitution from being thrown open by your favorite cause, “The Convention of States.” Please be specific. Anything? Anything at all? Be honest, expose your true allegiance. Afterall, I have and no one doubts it.
To be clear, I have found no documentation stating the John Birch Society is against amending the Constitution. Afterall, that citizen-driven process is as much a part of this treasured document that the JBS has defended since their inception, as is your high-risk Article 5. Yet, without a chance of a run-away convention.
