Corvallis boys and Stevensville girls win soccer

The Corvallis and Stevensville boys and girls’ soccer teams met in Corvallis on Thursday, September 28th for an all Bitterroot Valley matchup. The Corvallis boys won 5-0, while the Stevensville girls won 6-0. 

The boys’ teams played two weeks earlier in Stevenville and tied 2-2, but this game was all Corvallis, as they won convincingly 5-0. Corvallis got a brace from Chance Jessop, while Jack Hanssen, Ryan Hutchison, and Enzio Monnier each scored goals for the Blue Devils.

In the girls game the Lady Yellowjackets won 6-0. For Stevensville, Holly St. Germain had a hat trick, while Millie Shepp, Maya Peretto, and Cambree Praast each scored goals.  

Earlier in the week on Tuesday, Sept. 26th, the Stevensville girls defeated Missoula Loyola 5-0. The Lady Yellowjackets got goals from Madigan Hurlbert, Maya Peretto, Millie Shepp, Gianna Ruprecht, and Dawsyn Brewer.

Hamilton hosted Frenchtown on Tuesday, Sept. 26th. The Hamilton girls defeated Frenchtown 7-0. Hamilton’s Greta Gantz and Hannah Hughes both had a brace, while Anna Lewis, Mariah Johnson, and Gwen Wolfe each had goals. 

The Hamilton boys defeated Frenchtown 2-1.
