Representative Rosendale is entirely correct in his analysis of political correctness in the military.
Subsequent to my tour in Vietnam as an advisor on a VN Swift boat, I returned to the Land of UM, Md. U. at College Park, where immature adolescents were marching up and down campus protesting the war. I had an excellent class entitled Military Sociology from retired Col. Coates. It it we learned that, in the end, the military is a reflection of society. A few years back a friend of mine, a retired Special Forces senior NCO wrote that the last hope for America would be a military heirarchy that understood its oath to the Constitution and would wrest control of the government and return it to the republic that it should be. All the other levers of power having come under control of those who own and operate The Fed. He also wrote that the Dept. of Defense and the Pentagon were specifically created to micromanage political correctness down the military’s throat using a monstrous civilian bureaucracy. Prior to that the flag officers of the military received the tasking from the president and decided how to carry it out.
But alas, this is merely another step in the decline of an empire. The military is now infested with people who fail to understand that a feminized military will not win wars. And, the prime criteria for flag rank is the ability to say, “Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.” to their political masters.
