Ravalli County COVID-19 testing results – 108 news cases, 3 more deaths

November 23, 2020 by Editor

Ravalli County Public Health Dept.

November 23, 2020

Ravalli County Public Health is reporting 68 new positive COVID labs for Saturday with an additional 40 new positive COVID labs reported for Sunday. Ravalli County is reporting 725 open investigations of COVID-19. Public Health is working 7 days a week to contact families with diagnosed illness to determine isolation and quarantine dates.

It is with regret that we inform the county of 3 additional deaths from the weekend.

  • A male in his 90’s.
  • A male in his 70’s
  • A male in his 50’s.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to their families.  These are unprecedented times and a loss of a family member or community member, regardless of age, brings a painful impact to bear on all that knew them.

Public Health reminds residents, that our actions make a difference.

  • Wear a mask when in public
  • Maintain the 6’ distance
  • Keep your cohort circle small
  • Frequently wash your hands and use hand sanitizer when washing is not available

Be aware that none of the guidelines on their own offers 100% protection against infection.

Thank you, Ravalli County, for the choices you make and the support you provide each other.  Together we are stronger.

The counties refusal to implement the Governor’s mandate is exactly the reason I head to Missoula to shop.. they have a mask requirement to enter businesses and “everyone you walk in with and mingle withe in the store wears a mask” no big deal and no complaining about their rights!! Wake up and try to be part of the solution and not part of THE solution. Thank gentlemen for your indecision..

      Mary, Mary, quite contrary…

On July 17, 2020, 38 of the 56 Sheriffs made a public statement they would NOT support this order, as it is NOT a Law. The Missoula County Sheriff is one of the 38 who is NOT ENFORCING the mask silliness.

You’re wasting your time, contributing to global warming (gasp!), and hurting your own county business because of your ignorance.

The size of the covid19 virus is .1 micron; almost no mask filters that out, certainly not the surgeon’s masks, handkerchiefs, cloth masks, even the N95 mask does NOT WORK. There is literally no use in using something that will not work!

The Montana State site for covid info states the survival rate is 98.91+ %.

The chance of you killing yourself is higher than dying from covid, but here you are, freaking out because you’re not being part of the solution.
