Have our expectations of our Senators become so low that we would actually consider electing someone like Theresa Manzella? All one has to do is watch her drag herself in late to committee meetings or listen to the ridiculously dumb questions she asks in committee to realize how low our expectations have become.
She is known in the Montana Legislature as one of the least effective legislators of all time. One of her fellow legislators recently remarked that the only time Manzella was seen on the House floor making an attempt to work across the aisle was her attempt to pass a resolution for the “Day of the Cowboy.” I suspect any Montana cowboy worth his salt would prefer work for our veterans, school kids, those in need of healthcare, hospitals, working people, businesses, law enforcement, etc. rather than “Day of the Cowboy.”
Is there any serious issue Theresa Manzella is willing to work to resolve? Don’t let Manzella be the standard for what a Montana State Senator should be. Just say Whoa to Manzella!
