Laura Merrill proposes to work on real issues that affect us in Ravalli County: protecting our public lands; how to accommodate the influx of new residents without undermining our farming/ranching economic base; educating our kids for the future they’ll inherit; accelerating high speed internet access across the valley.
Her opponent seems to hold the view “Government, keep your hands off my ________.” A very libertarian position that presumes no real need for government.
Truth is, governing is hard work! It is full of tedious, sometimes boring detail that always requires compromise. Mr. Marshall seems ill-suited and completely unprepared for any of that.
