The three Class A schools held the first track meet of the season last Wednesday with record snowflakes and rain making the events miserable. Corvallis won both the boys and girls scoring but Hamilton and Stevensville had some standouts too.
Hamilton’s Ashley Searle cleared 5 feet to qualify for state in the high jump. Ashton Lewis of Stevensville jumped 17 feet to win the long jump and qualify for state.
