Florence, Hamilton continue winning on the diamond

The Lady Falcons of Florence blasted Manhattan in both games of a double header on Saturday. Brianna Hoffman came in to relieve Shannon Byrne in the second inning and only allowed two hits in the 17-2 win. The game ended after four and a half innings.

Florence had12 hits in the game. Hoffman had three hits including double and an RBI. Natalie Dulac had two hits and four RBIs. Danielle Zahn knocked in three runners with a double and a single. Brooklyn Little, Danara Greer, Destini Greer and Emily Kinnamon each had an RBI.

In the second game, Florence won, 22-9. Kinnamon was in the circle and took the win. She also had triple and three RBIs. Hoffman had two hits and four RBIs. Jayden Hendrickson had two RBIs. MacKenzieLittle had three hits including a double. Brooklynn Little had two RBIs. Destini Greer and Gabby Reed each had an RBI.

Hamilton defeated Butte Central, 6-3, in Southwest A action. Sky Lopez was the winning pitcher. Hamilton scored twice in the first inning and then continued their scoring in the fifth and sixth innings. Sophia Doyle and Abby Johnson had two hits. Johnson drove in two runners. Hayley Hudgins had two RBIs and Caitlin Dillon had one RBI.

Corvallis ran over Whitefish, 19-4. Kayla Fields was the winning pitcher. Ashlynn Nixon had two hits and both were doubles.She had four RBIs. Sammy Knapp connected on three pitches including a double and had two RBIs. Cerria Jessop had two hits and two RBIs. Megan Bradshaw, Reilli Paddock all had an RBI.

Butte Central blanked Stevensville, 6-0, on Friday.

Hamilton topped Corvallis, 11-4, with Jorden Taggart in the circle and struck out 10 Blue Devils. Doyle had two hits including a triple and an RBI.  Dillon, and Tessa Della Silva also had two hits each. Mallory McGill had two RBIs to lead the Lady Broncs.

Corvallis’ Maria Hickey had a home run and two RBIs. Cerria Jessop also had an RBI.
