You missed a treat if you were unable to attend the Homeshooler’s History Fair at the Ravalli County Museum. Complete with costumes, presentation boards and props, twenty-nine homeschoolers, age five through eleven, presented their chosen historical characters. Thank you to all who braved the snow and cold to attend the event and support the kids as they made their verbal presentations to all who would listen. As the foot traffic slowed, a few of the kids actively sought out audience members to listen to their presentations. One adorable four-year old who was not quite ready to participate studied “George Washington’s” presentation and practiced as “George’s assistant.” Other characters included Thomas Edison, Marco Polo, Knights Templar, Annie Oakley, Amelia Earhart, and even Guy Fawkes and his famed 1605 Gunpowder Plot and many more. The homeschool community expresses a huge thank you to Tamar Stanley and the Ravalli County Museum for helping make this event a great success!
