We recently sponsored the benefit Auction for the Darby Bread Box. There was a lot of speculation about the amount of monies raised.
Many had voiced their doubts. Well, we didn’t raise $1000 or $800, we helped raise $3760.00. How cool is that?
So here are the shout outs:
Thank you to everyone that donated goods or services. And many thanks to those that worked with the wonderful volunteers from the Bread Box. Thanks to our volunteer auctioneer, Steve Wheeler and his team of angels.
Thanks to Theresa Manzella for bringing her horses and wagon to entertain the kids with rides. And thanks for all the people who donated baked goods.
Thanks to Jeri Austin for her splendid idea of the auction and art work.
And our youngest volunteer, Kendra from Trapper Peak Job Corps, you never got tired.
Thanks to The Darby Clubhouse and First Baptist Church of Darby for the use of the chairs and tables.
Many thanks to all the vendors that made the day glorious and delicious.
Thank you Aaron Conner for your wonderful music in the park, you really have a gift.
Lastly, thank you Darby and all of South Valley residents for stepping up to help! And many thanks to everyone that came and had a great time.
I look forward to next year and how we can help the Darby Bread Box!
Well done everyone!
