BPL Fellowship Club
The Bitterroot Public Library’s Fellowship Club will meet on Thursday, October 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the West Meeting Room of the BPL, to discuss the book “The Healing Code” by Alexander Loyd, PhD, ND, with Ben Johnson, MD, DO, NMD.
This book has been described as “your healing kit for life – to heal the issues you know about, and the ones you don’t.”
In 2001, Dr. Loyd discovered how to activate a physical function built into the body that consistently and predictably removes the source of 95% of all illness and disease so that the neuro-immune system takes over its job of healing whatever is wrong with the body. His findings were validated by tests and by thousands of people from all over the world who have used this system to heal virtually any physical, emotional, or relational issue, as well as realize breakthroughs in success. Dr. Loyd’s testing also revealed that there is a “Universal Healing Code” that will heal most issues for most people. The method described in this book takes only minutes to do.
Dr. Alex Loyd holds doctorates in Psychology and Naturopathic Medicine. His 12-year search for a cure for his wife’s depression led to the discovery of The Healing Codes system to heal the source of virtually any physical, emotional, success, or relational issue. Dr. Ben Johnson, the only MD featured in The Secret, was clinical director of the Immune Recovery Clinic in Atlanta, GA, for several years. He has lectured all over the world about how The Healing Code works.

First Time Homebuyer class
The Bitter Root RC&D’s next nationally certified First Time Homebuyer Education class is scheduled for October 14-16 from 6 to 9 p.m. each night at the Human Resource Council Building, 316 N. Third St., Hamilton. Attendance on all three nights is required for certification. The charge is $40/household to cover the cost of reference materials. Sara Briggs, instructor, can also offer one-on-one counseling to first-time homebuyers. This new service means that those who request additional counseling or are required by HUD for this follow-up program can now do it in Hamilton rather than in Missoula or on the phone.
The first step to the home buying process is pre-purchase counseling and certification is required in order to qualify for many loans (MBOC, Rural Development, FHA, etc.). Most lenders require that anyone on the loan must take the course. Additionally, HUD requires that the class be taken prior to signing a purchase contract; therefore, Briggs urges first time homebuyers to not wait until the last minute to take the class. Most importantly, the class will help novice homebuyers maneuver through the entire process of homeownership. Call the Bitter Root RC&D office at 363-5450 to reserve your space today. Those seeking one-on-one counseling should contact the Bitter Root RC&D at bitterroothousing@cybernet1.com or call 363-5450 after October 16.
