The many, many Bitterroot residents who expressed their concerns over the impact the Legacy development will have on surrounding communities, the Teller Wildlife Refuge and the remaining heritage of the valley with which we are entrusted, need to cut the County Commissioners some ‘slack’. After all, they did expend over 27 exhausting hours mitigating the inadequacies contained within the final development plan. One can’t help but wonder though, why it took them that long. They already ensured that the subdivision regulations were revised to coincide with their vision for the future of the valley. The foundation on which they based their approval was already in place.
