SECOND CDBG PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Stevensville will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 11th, 6:00 PM, in the Town Hall Council Room for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for Phase 2 improvements at the Town’s existing wastewater treatment facility. The project includes a new headworks facility for screenings and grit removal, critical improvements for operation and maintenance of the wastewater plant, and secondary process improvements to meet new Montana Department of Environmental Quality wastewater discharge permit requirements.
At the public hearing, the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, available and possible sources of funding, and if applicable, any costs impacts to local citizens as a result of the project. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding this proposed project.
Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before 5:00 PM, April 11, 2013.
