Hamilton resident Jeanne Doyle was the featured quilter at the Bitterroot Quilter’s show over the weekend. The event featured quilters from throughout the valley displaying enough quilts and art pieces to fill up the First Interstate Building at the Fairgrounds. Doyle began quilting about 20 years ago. She and her husband moved to the valley from Shelby in 1977 after retiring. She said she has never done the same pattern twice and uses different techniques for each quilt. She said she makes a couple of quilts a year. Jean Schurman photo.
