The Bitterroot Bucs played in a tournament at Lewistown. They opened with a win over the Gallatin Valley Outlaws in extra innings. Riley Philips pitched a complete game with 14 strikeouts, three walks, and six hits. On Friday, the Bucs defeated Glendive, 12-4. Tyler Thorson went 3-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. The Bucs then lost to Dillon, 9-6. The Bucs had 10 hits but left 10 runners on base. The downward spiral continued as they lost to Lewistown, 12-4 and then to Glasgow, 18-4.
The Red Sox were in Libby at the Big Bucks tournament. They opened their tournament play with a 4-0 blanking of the Class A Prairie Cardinals of Post Falls, Idaho. Drew Zeiler hit a two-RBI home run in the game. Trevor Brown pitched the game and took the win. The Lewis-Clark Cubs defeated the Red Sox, 9-7. Rodee Anderson had a home run and was 3-for-3 at bat in the game.
