NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 6:30 PM to discuss pending and potential applications to USDA Rural Development for Loan and Grant funding to: Upgrade the Stevensville Wastewater Treatment Plant to meet the requirements of its MPDES discharge permit, replace infrastructure that is at the end of its useful life, and construct facilities that will allow the Town to meet new water quality standards The Council requests the Residents of the Town of Stevensville to provide comment on above proposed undertakings of the Town. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Town of Stevensville, PO Box 30, Stevensville, MT 59870 until May 27, 2009. A copy of the application for the above items will be available for review during the meeting. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate the special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24 hour advance notice. PUBLIC FACILITIES APPLICATION PUBLIC HEARING The Town of Stevensville will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 6:30 PM in the Town Council Chambers, 206 Buck Street, Stevensville, MT 59870 for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerces Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for a proposed project to upgrade the Stevensville Wastewater Treatment Plant to meet the requirements of its MPDES discharge permit, replace infrastructure that is at the end of its useful life, and construct facilities that will allow the Town to meet new water quality standards. At the public hearing, the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, possible sources of funding, and, any costs that may result for local citizens as a result of the project. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding this proposed project. Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before 5 PM, May 1, 2009 to the Town of Stevensville, PO Box 30, Stevensville, MT 59870.
