Ravalli County is soliciting bid requests for the application of herbicides along highways and other Montana Department of Transportation facilities and lands. Each application is spot treatment only. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE FOR SECOND PUBLIC HEARING

The Ravalli County Commissioners will hold a public hearing in the Commissioners Conference Room of the Ravalli County Administrative Building, 215 S. 4th Street, Hamilton, MT on Monday, June 23rd at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of obtaining public comments on a proposed application to assist a Stevensville technology company and a Hamilton manufacturing company under the Montana Community Development Block Grant Program administered by the Montana Department of Commerce. At the public hearing, the proposed application will be explained, including the proposed area of the project, activities, and budget, and all interested persons will be given the opportunity to express their opinions regarding this proposed application. Testimony may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before June 29th, 5:00 P.M.

Portions of and/or a summary of the CDBG-ED Application are available for review at the RCEDA office during regular office hours. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OR DISPOSAL OF SCHOOL PROPERTY

Whereas, Stevensville School Board has certain items of personal property that are abandoned, obsolete, undesirable, or unsuitable for school purposes on the attached Exhibit A.

Whereas, it is in the best interest of the Stevensville School Board to sell or otherwise dispose of said property, to put the value of said property to better use and no longer have to care, maintain, and store said property.

Now therefore: Be it resolved that the Stevensville School Board intends to sell or otherwise dispose of the personal property in full compliance with the laws of the State of Montana, 20-6-604. A list of the items for sale can be picked up at the Superintendent’s office.

Any taxpayer may protest the adoption of this resolution anytime prior to July 2, 2010, and may appeal this resolution by following the procedures outlined in 20-6-604.

Items for sale will be sold at a garage sale on July 10, 2010, behind Pantry Partners, 616 Park Avenue, Stevensville, MT, from 8:00am until 12:00 noon. Items must be paid for at the time of acquisition.

Be it further resolved that all monies resulting from the sale of the properties shall become a part of the Building Fund of Stevensville Schools.
