Possible road rage incident
Just after midnight on April 27, officers from the Ravalli County Sheriffs Office, Missoula County Sheriffs Office and the Montana Highway Patrol responded to a reported road rage incident resulting in shots fired. Invesigators are looking for the shooter vehicle described as a light blue Dodge Neon, possibly dented in the trunk area. The occupants were described as a male driver and a female passenger. The shooting occurred on highway 93 south of Florence at about 12:51 a.m. on Sunday morning. No one in the victim vehicle was injured. It is believed that possibly two rounds were fired, one of which struck the driver door of the victim vehicle. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Ravalli County Sheriffs Office, 363-3033.
