REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

FINANCIAL LENDING FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AT RAVALLI COUNTY COURTHOUSE

The Ravalli County Commissioners are seeking proposals for the necessary financing of the construction of a remodel of the 9-1-1 Call Center. The estimated loan amount for this construction project will be between $515,000 and $635,000.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION - MOBILE HOME

The Ravalli County Board of County Commissioners is now accepting competitive, written proposals for the sale of a 1975 24’ X 46’ CHIEF BONNAVILLA MOBILE HOME, currently located at 4524 Eastside Highway, 3 miles north of Stevensville.

The mobile home is being offered, and will be sold, as is where is. Interested parties shall assume all responsibility for inspection and condition of the mobile home.

Sealed proposals must be received at the office of the Ravalli County Clerk & Recorder (second floor), 215 South Fourth Street, Hamilton, Montana 59840 by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 07, 2009. Proposals received will be opened by the Board of County Commissioners at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 08, 2009 in the Commissioners Conference Room (third floor) at the Administrative Center.

Proposals must include a deposit of not less than 15% (fifteen percent) of the total amount of the proposal, made payable to Ravalli County, in the form of a cashiers or certified check. LEGAL NOTICE

The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will conduct a public hearing for a conservation easement proposed through Ravalli County’s Open Lands Bond Program. The proposal is known as the Bell Family Ranch and is composed of five separate parcels totaling 144 acres. The properties are located south of Hamilton off Highway 93 and Sleeping Child Road. Parcels one (1) and two (2) are located on Sleeping Child Road, while Parcel A, B and C are located off Highway 93. (See Maps)

The properties are described as: Parcel 2 of COS #578955-TR, located in Section 33, T5N, R20W, P.M.M., Ravalli County, Montana; a tract of land containing 6.29 acres in the NW ? SW ? of Section 34, T5N, R20W, P.M.M., Ravalli County, Montana, depicted on COS #949; and as Parcels A, B, and C of COS #577325-C, located in Section 1, T5N, R21W, P.M.M., Ravalli County, Montana

The applicants are Brian Rouse and Marvin Bell. The Sponsoring Organization is the Bitterroot Land Trust.
