Dedication ceremony for Corvallis pathwaysBy Michael Howell This month marks the completion of new pedestrian pathways in Corvallis. During the summer and fall approximately 900 feet of path was constructed along both the north and south sides of Willow Creek Road east from the intersection with the Eastside Highway. The south pathway includes a prefabricated pedestrian bridge across the Corvallis Canal. On the north pathway, pedestrians will cross the canal on a pedestrian walkway that is part of a new vehicle bridge installed in October by the Ravalli County Road Department. In addition, 400 feet of path was added to the existing pedestrian/bike path along the Woodside Cutoff Road, extending that path all the way to the Eastside Highway. More...
