The Ravalli County Tourism Business Improvement District (RC TBID) is making a difference to the folks of Bitterroot Valley, as we are one of the umbrella organizations that link all the communities. The Board of Trustees is comprised of five owners or owner designated managers who operate lodging businesses in this county. We are here to work on the big tourism ideas that help market the entire valley as a destination.
Please visit our visually beautiful website, which was launched in late December 2013 at http://www.visitbitterrootvalley.com/ Watch a new video about the valley that was just produced and posted on the website. Please share it.
The RC TBID Board has taken the lead in branding the Bitterroot Valley. We held a Branding the Bitterroot Valley event on January 29, 2014. Developing a tagline and logo for the valley is now under way.
If you have digital photos that you are willing to share for publication on the website and/or in our quarterly e-newsletter, then please submit them to Marie Christopher, TownHouse Inns, at mariec@townpump.biz. We are happy to give credit to photographers.
We are getting representation from up and down the Bitterroot Valley on the Destination Bitterroot Committee, which is open to all Ravalli County residents. If you would like to volunteer and be a part of a committee of action, please contact Phil Connelly at tuzitweety@yahoo.com.
If you have a big idea you would like to present, the RC TBID Board of Trustees typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month and adheres to open meeting laws. You are welcome to join us.
