Remember

October 27, 2020 by Guest Post

By Diane Thomas-Rupert, Stevensville

REMEMBER all those “flyers” you received in the mail? Yes, how could we forget? If you look closely at them you will see, if they were distributed by the individual campaigns, that Cooney, Bullock, Williams, Gorski, Graybill and Bennett all provided references where you can go to verify what they stated. Their opponents do not.

REMEMBER: Cooney, Bullock, Williams, Gorski, Graybill and Bennett demonstrate their support for: affordable health care for all through the Affordable Care Act, continuation of Medicare, Medicaid Expansion and the need for rural hospitals to stay open. They support that your public lands stay public. Their opponents do not.

REMEMBER: Gianforte missed 97 out of 1816 votes in the US House, wants to sell off your public lands and wants the ACA repealed; Daines voted four times to repeal the ACA, supports ending Social Security by deferring a portion of the payroll tax and appears to care more about his NRA rating than most anything else. I would suggest you read the reference citations to verify; however, it appears there are no reference citations, therefore no verification.

REMEMBER: A large number of Daines’ “flyers” are from outside interests. Do you wonder why those outsiders are so interested in a Montana Senate election? What do they want?

REMEMBER: to vote like your life and life style depends on it. You own your vote.

REMEMBER: You have a “choice and a voice” as “Merrill for Montana” postcards indicate. You are deciding to vote for America and Montana or not.

REMEMBER: Your vote reflects whether you want to do as Gorski states and be “uniting, not dividing.”

REMEMBER: to vote and track your ballot using https://app.mt.gov/voterinfo to verify that it has been accepted.

REMEMBER: Those “flyers” will soon end.
