Senate District 44

September 22, 2020 by Guest Post

By Michael Koeppen, Florence

Northern Ravalli County voters have a distinct choice to make in Senate District 44, between Stevensville resident Margaret Gorski, and south county outsider, Theresa Manzella.

Manzella, a prior member of the Montana House, has a track record of not listening to, nor making any attempt to work with people of differing viewpoints. As a result, Manzella does not represent her constituents well. She comes from the outer fringe of right-wing politics, and her ideology overwhelms her ability to maturely represent Ravalli County. In other words, she doesn’t get anything done for our citizens.

Margaret Gorski, on the other hand, lacks Manzella’s confrontational and obstinate style, and is willing to listen to people from every side of an issue. Margaret will do what’s best for our county, leaving extremist ideologies and conspiracy theories at the door, and will represent every citizen, not just those who elected her.

If you’re happy with the current state of dysfunctional government in Montana, and enjoy Ravalli County being the laughingstock in Helena, then Manzella is your candidate. If you’re tired of the games, and want sensible government that works for the people of Ravalli County, please vote for Margaret Gorski for Senate District 44!

You’re a liar when you call Theresa Manzella an “outsider”. She was born in the Bitterroot, and Im guessing here, probably lived here most of her life, if not all.

The “outsider” is clearly Gorski. Born in Florida, and schooled in California and Washington. Since you seem to like the term “outer fringe” I suggest Gorski clearly fits the “extremist” left having attended Washington University and Berkeley (ranked #22 and #4 respectively on the list of “America’s Most Liberal Colleges” by CBS).

    https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/americas-most-liberal-colleges-ranked/47/

We see how those “extremist ideologies” of liberal policies are working in liberal strongholds such as Washington, California, and other states: rioting, burning, destruction, rampant racism, extreme taxation, unmanaged fires burning out of control (which we’re seeing here now, too, thanks to extreme ideologies of outer fringe liberalism!), theft of Constitutional RIghts, sanctuary cities for illegal aliens (law breakers!), etc.

We do NOT need or want Gorski’s extremist ideologies of outsider liberal policies here. If she wants to represent her people, she needs to move back to CA or WA.

Manzella seems to like spreading rumors about other people, so here’s one about Manzella herself shared with me at the beginning of the 2019 session by a long-time, well connected Helena lobbyist: don’t worry too much about Manzella. She has a reputation among her colleagues for being a laughingstock who is too ineffective to really screw anything up too badly.
