Mr. Roger Mitchell really hit the nail on the head in his letter to the editor in your May 27, 2020 issue with regard to the “heavy-handed” official action taken in response to the COVID virus. His questions regarding the fallout are very real, and his suggestions as to “better ways” to have handled our response to the pandemic are pure common sense. Hear, hear! Too bad Mr. Mitchell is not our governor.
