Just wondering why everyone has been quiet about a high-ranking school official and his son allegedly shooting two trophy elk on private land and having them confiscated by FWP for poaching. It should be public knowledge.
Every year people poach elk on the Bitterroot farmlands elk district Unit 262. What a sham. The public should get involved. You either have the 262 tag and permission or you don’t.
Now it’s rumored the official is badgering FWP to get the heads back. Yowza! One is a 6X7 bull, the other is a 6X6 bull.
I think anyone that is cited by FWP for killing these half tame elk should be identified. It should be public record when any public official does any alleged serious ethical violations.

C. What does the school have to do with this? Did they tell the “high ranking official” to misread the map? It’s been handled correctly by all involved and you need to get a life.

Wow! How embarrassed you must feel, Mike, to not have your facts straight! I’m curious to know why you feel the need to write in about a situation that not only you very clearly do not comprehend but also does not involve you? Perhaps you have your personal reasons? Either way I guess if authorities are handling the situation you have nothing to be concerned about! Whew! You should have probably minded your own business with this particular topic. Because not only have you stated incorrect information but you have to be very careful. You want to make sure you don’t publicly slander a minor…..
