The Great Firefighter

October 12, 2017 by Guest Post

We have an awesome God. Think about it. For over two months our dedicated fire fighters worked tirelessly to put out the many ragging fires across MT. This included hundreds of workers around the clock, helicopters, airplanes, modern equipment and technology, and millions of dollars. Yet the fires kept growing.

Then God steps in, sends rain, cold, and even snow (in the middle of Sept), and in a few days most all the fires across the whole state are either out or very suppressed. What an awesome God. Why didn’t He do it sooner? I don’t know. I am not God. But I am sure there are many lessons He wants all of us to learn through this. There always are.

We are very thankful for all the fire fighters and their dedication and hard work. But don’t forget to thank the One who changed the weather completely – our awesome God.

    Grace Wilson,

Your “awesome god” not only started these fires, he killed two good people and ruined the lives/homes of many.

Not that awesome of a god if he started the fires and let them burn for months straight IMO. He’s gotta get the blame for starting them (or letting them start) if you’re going to give him the credit for putting them out. You can’t have it both ways.
