For those of you that already know this fact just bear with me, but for those who do not, I’m hoping I’ll summon someone out there who not only finds this as loathsome and offensive as I do, but more importantly, who’ll have enough repulsion in them to actually make a difference in eliminating this scoria that’s infectiously ripping at the very fiber of our culture and existence. So, what am I referring to here? I’m talking about the infamous 32 billion dollar a year drug industry that’s flowing up to and through our southern borders. It finds its way all the way to Chicago, the main hub and distribution center for all of North America. How do I know this? Unlike most of you, I’ve done my homework. Nevertheless, for those of you who think this particular strain of scoria haven’t landed in Stevensville, then we really need to sit down and talk about this bridge in Brooklyn! And, for all intents and purposes, for those of you who think you have your head in the game and are astutely aware, but turn a blind eye, I say to you, “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing” – Thomas Jefferson.
Needless to say, I’m one of those astutely aware onlookers who’s not only attuned to the alleged drug trafficking in my neighborhood, and I say alleged only because I don’t have any concrete-tangible-empirical evidence to substantiate my claim, but given my background as a retired Social Psychologist I do know the pattern(s). Nevertheless, and getting back to my point, in addition to being attuned, I made it known to several law enforcement officials who say they’re on it, but to no avail as this infectiously engulfed strain still remains at large.
Lastly, for all of those law enforcement agencies, the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office, The Missoula High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, The Montana Division of Criminal Investigation, and/or the DEA, whose eyes and ears fall on this draft and who would appreciate any details of what I may have witnessed, then you may find me at DMS Latitude 46° 30′ 25.9488” N DMS Longitude 114° 5′ 39.2424” W.
In conclusion, “It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people’s minds.” – Samuel Adams

The sad fact is that our laws of prohibition are what enrich and empower organized crime while driving those in various degrees of trouble deeper into the darkness. If we really wanted to fight drugs we would devote the resources we waste enforcing prohibition to our schools and counseling programs to identify and treat the troubles that lead to drugs before they get to drugs. The federal government’s unconstitutionally waged war against drug using citizens has accomplished nothing but making addiction more difficult to treat and organized crime syndicates far more wealthy and powerful. In the history of man neither prohibition or prisons have ever succeeded in diminishing crime or eliminating drugs, alcohol, gambling, prostitution, or etc… Perhaps it is time to rethink some things.

Lorenzo, We do already know this fact. Its becoming obvious even to the most blind that the drugs being poured into this area are increasing, and with it all the problems. We are also aware that its not small time fish behind it, but much larger Barracudas, and because the aforementioned government agencies need to justify their existence somehow, I believe the hands of our local law enforcement have been tied. What makes me say that? Common sense, mostly. The mantra is we gotta get the big fish! We gotta build a big case against the big guys! So they have their informants, their stings, their undercover officers ad nauseum. They let small dealers and users go routinely, so they can get right back into the despicable disgusting trade they are in in order to drag out this multi-million dollar investigation into one or two individuals at the head of the organization so they can have a huge press release, show off tons of illegal drugs, piles of cash, and seized firearms. Then they can high five each other, tell us how hard they work protecting our communities from these bottom feeding losers. Then they move on to their pizza party without a sense of shame. In the meantime, our community is destroyed. Instead of grabbing up the small dealers and making life difficult for them, they were allowed to proliferate in our neighborhoods, our schools and our businesses. They were encouraged by the apparent lack of police presence to do whatever they wanted, whenever. I expect a lot more of the kinds of senseless violence like the Florence murders in our area. The cartel will have tentacles buried real deep, and a steady supply of dependents to encourage another Big Fish to take over. But, they got the big fish. Dont you feel safe?
