City Council to consider FlatIron annexationBy Michael Howell After simmering for years, the FlatIron annexation proposal is finally moving to the front burner as a public hearing is scheduled before the Hamilton City Council this Thursday evening, September 18, at Hamilton City Hall. In an unusual move, the Council has already decided to schedule a second meeting on September 23 for a continuation of the public hearing. Councilors considered it essential for a representative from BBC Research and Consulting, the consulting firm that conducted a fiscal analysis of the annexation proposal, to be present to answer questions concerning that report.
