Clothes Closet gets new digsBy Michael Howell The Stevensville School Board unanimously agreed last Tuesday to lease the currently unoccupied Alternative Learning Center (ACL) building, located on the school campus, to the Clothes Closet, a local non-profit charitable association that offers free clothing to those in need. The organization was recently evicted from its longstanding abode on Main Street as that building is now slated for demolition. More... Armed Robbery in CorvallisSheriffs Office seeks information The Ravalli County Sheriffs Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on the evening of Thursday, November 20 at the Corvallis Subway. The Subway clerk called 911 at about 9:40 p.m. stating that he was approached by a male with a gun. The gunman entered the business, pointed a silver handgun at the clerk, and demanded all the money from the cash register, according to a press release from the Sheriffs Office. More... |
