Stevi Pantry Partners and Clothes Closet may build next spring

Hopes are high at Pantry Partners – a free food bank located in Stevensville – and the Stevensville Clothes Closet – a free clothing store – that they may well be sharing a new building together next year. The groups received notice recently from the Department of Commerce that their application made for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to construct a new building to house both operations had been rated second among eleven projects that are vying for almost $3.1 million in soon to be available funds.
