Town of Stevi denies public access to tape recording of meeting By Michael Howell Rumors abounded last week about what transpired at the Stevensville Town Council meeting held on Tuesday, October 15. But when Bitterroot Star publisher Michael Howell inquired at the Town Hall about examining a record of the proceedings, he was told by Town Clerk Nancy Lowell that the tape recording of that meeting would not be made available for public review nor would any minutes of the meeting be available for public scrutiny until official minutes were approved at the next Town Council meeting.
