The District 6B tournament is a seeding tournament. All teams will advance to the Western B tournament that begins on Wednesday in Hamilton. But just because they all are going, doesn’t mean that the teams aren’t in it to win it. Florence will play Plains, the No. 2 seed from District 7B at 5:45 on Wednesday.

Florence opened up against the Loyola Breakers on Friday. The two teams played a close game for three quarters and then the Florence offense went cold in the fourth. The Lady Falcons lost, 40-30. The Lady Falcons were without the play of freshman post Megan Kowalski who didn’t play because she was ill.
