NOTICE FOR PUBLIC HEARING
CDBG-ED GRANT MONIES
The Ravalli County Commissioners will hold a public hearing in the Commissioners Meeting Room, 215 South 4th Street, Hamilton, MT on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding the community development needs and priorities of Ravalli County for economic development, housing and community revitalization, and public facilities, and particularly as those needs affect low and moderate income persons.
The County is considering submitting an application to the Montana Department of Commerce for a Community Development Block Grant -Economic Development Program (CDBG-ED) grant, and wants to obtain public comment on the needs of the community. The Ravalli County Commissioners will discuss the purpose of the CDBG-ED Program and the variety of activities eligible for funding. At the public hearing, everyone will be given the opportunity to express their opinions regarding the Town’s needs and the type of projects that should be considered. Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before 5:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
