The Florence Falcons continued working on their high speed, up-tempo game plan and came away with two more wins over the weekend. They topped Frenchtown in non-conference action on Thursday and then rolled over Deer Lodge on Saturday.
Frenchtown kept things interesting for three quarters, even taking the lead at one point in the second quarter behind the three point shots of Bridger Truest and Daniel Lebsock. But a couple of key shots by Ryno Baerlocher put the Falcons back in the lead. Florence ace Aaron Ward had 21 points to lead the team, even though he sat for much of the second quarter.

Sophomore Rhett Baerlocher scored 23 points to lead the Falcons against Deer Lodge on Saturday. Ryno Baerlocher added 13 and Ward finished with 17 points. Florence jumped out to an 8-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back as they went on to win, 80-50.

Victor also picked up a couple of wins over the weekend. The Pirates rolled over Valley Christian, 69-26, with nine players scoring for the Pirates. Kyle Ball finished with 26 points to lead Victor.

On Saturday, it was Corey Deering who had the hot hand for the Pirates. Deering finished with 30 points in the 13C match up.

Darby split their games over the weekend, topping St. Regis and then falling to the tough Drummond Trojans.
The Tigers came out strong against St. Regis and never looked back as they cruised to 53-23 victory. Wyatt Doyle had 13 points to pace the Tigers.

It was a different story on Saturday against Drummond. The Trojans took control in the second quarter and held Darby to only 19 points in the final three quarters. Ryan McCrossin finished with 15 points for Darby.
