NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
BEFORE THE HAMILTON PLANNING BOARD & ZONING COMMISSION, AND HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL
Subdivision Proposal 2023-01, Zone Map Amendment Request 2023-04 & Annexation Petition 2023-02 – A proposal by Chip Pigman of OCR, LLC, represented by Jake Zimmerman of 406 Engineering, to annex two contiguous tracts of land, subdivide, and establish a zoning designation of Residential High Density District / Planned Unit Development (RH/PUD).
The property is two contiguous tracts collectively measuring approximately 17.78 acres currently outside the incorporated limits of the City of Hamilton, located at 490-496 Old Corvallis Road.
The properties are identified by Ravalli County Tax ID #744910 and #637700, respectively, and legally described as:
A tract of land located in the NW¼ of Section 18, Township 6 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., Ravalli County, Montana, and being more particularly described as Tract B, Certificate of Survey No. 4912-A.
AND
A tract of land located in the NW¼ of Section 18, Township 6 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., Ravalli County, Montana and being more particularly described as Remainder Tract, Certificate of Survey No. 1482.
The purpose of these public hearings is to consider the proposed subdivision, zone map amendment request, and annexation petition.
The Hamilton Planning Board and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing during a joint meeting on the proposed subdivision and zone map amendment request on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 6:00 PM on the 2nd Floor of Hamilton City Hall – 223 South 2 nd Street, Hamilton, MT.
Hamilton City Council will hold public hearings on the proposed subdivision, zone map amendment request and annexation petition on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 7:00 PM, and Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 7:00 PM, during its regular meetings on the 2 nd Floor of Hamilton City Hall – 223 South 2 nd Street, Hamilton, MT.
The public may attend and make comment in person, or on the Internet / by phone through Zoom.
