The rainbow belongs to God. It is His creation. Earlier in September the Bitterroot valley was blessed with a spectacular, rare, complete, double rainbow. The Bible tells us that God destroyed the whole earth with a flood, except those in the ark. When the waters abated He set His rainbow in the sky as a sign that He would never destroy the whole earth with a flood again. Near the end of the Bible it is recorded that God’s throne in heaven will be surrounded by a rainbow.
There are some folks, however, who use the rainbow as a symbol to promote a sinful, ungodly lifestyle that is destroying thousands of lives. They take a holy sign from God to promote the very thing for which He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. God will be the judge for this.
Meanwhile, we need to love these folks and try to convey to them the truth. But Christians must never support, encourage, or take part in any way of this awful, sinful lifestyle. Love the sinner but hate the sin.
So, the next time you see God’s rainbow in the sky, may you be reminded of His glory, His power, His love and forgiveness, but also that He will be our judge.

Two points;
One. Rainbows are formed when light from the sun is scattered by water droplets (e.g. raindrops or fog) through a process called refraction. Refraction occurs when the light from the sun changes direction when passing through a medium denser than air, such as a raindrop. No god or magic is required for this to happen.
Two. I will not be taking any moral advise from anyone who worships an imaginary being who once had such a temper tantrum that he murdered everyone on earth except a drunk and his family on a magic zoo boat.

I’m with you! Religious zealots need to read something other than the Bible.
