Stevensville – Cynthia LeFevre, born February 28th, 1931, passed away peacefully in the home of her daughter, Sara Kenney, after a challenging battle with dementia. Her daughters Sara, Joy and Loree were by her side. Cynthia with her husband Jim raised a family of five children. She was predeceased by her husband Jim and another daughter, Melinda, who passed away within just two weeks of her birth.
Cynthia had a love of animals, especially horses and she and Jim owned many horses over the course of their lives. Moving from Pennsylvania to Montana in 1972 they lived in and were part of the birth of the Big Sky Ski Resort owning two youth hostels there. Following that they moved around the west with Jim’s job but eventually returned to Montana which they loved. Cynthia had many friends, especially in the quilting community and will be fondly remembered.
She is survived by her five children, Fred LeFevre, Loree West, Sara Kenney, Joy LeFevre and Andy LeFevre, 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. No service is planned but you are invited to make a donation to your favorite charity in her name. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.com.
