Thadious Delano ‘Dee’ Wall

September 28, 2022 by Editor

Florence – Thadious Delano “Dee” Wall of Florence, MT passed away September 2, 2022. He was born in Hamilton, Montana to Grandison Roy Wall and Lucy Bennett Wall. He was raised in Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton High School on May 27, 1949. He married Carole Hall Ford on July 6, 1957 in Missoula, MT.

He served in the National Guard for two years but his passion was in the lumber industry. He drove trucks which consisted of log hauling, gravel, and spent most of his time driving long haul carrying heavy equipment. He never failed to stop and lend a hand to fellow truckers.

Dee is survived by his wife Carole of Florence, daughter Sandra Hansen of Farmington NM, sons Daniel and wife Doneda Wall of Florence, and Timothy Wall of Stevensville, MT; and grandchildren Salisha, Ave and Asher Radovich, Leo Dee, Kelsie and Luhan Hansen, Ciara Hansen, SeKaiya, Aiyla, Leshawn George, Sage and Jayde Hansen.

Dee adored his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as they did him. Dee was preceded in death by his father Roy and his mother Lucy Wall, brothers Roy, Elmer, Robert and Delbert Wall, sisters Vesta Cook, Marion Ganthner and Shirley Houldson.

Surviving brothers are Edward, Ronald, Randy Wall and sister Dena Parnin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers in bloom of every sort and kind,

Colors more vivid than I left behind,

Family and friends I haven’t seen in years,

Hugs and handshakes and no more tears.

Dee wished to be cremated with a celebration when families can all gather. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.com.
