Montana people have a right to privacy! What goes on in a person’s body is no one’s business besides that person and her doctor. What is more important, a living, breathing human life, or a bunch of cells that cannot survive on their own as in an ectopic pregnancy Or, if the child she gives birth to will not survive ?
The issue is not just about abortion, it’s more than just reproductive rights! It is about a woman’s health. Most woman don’t elect to have an abortion. It is necessary for her mental, physical health, or the unborn’s ability to lead a healthy unimpaired life!
According to a UC San Francisco researcher quoted in Nature magazine: “Women denied abortions are more likely to live in poverty.”
Case in point: A 10 year old victim of rape was being forced to give birth and care for her baby while she is completing 3rd grade! What kind of life will this child have with just a 3rd grade education or infant grow up like, with guidance from a mother only 11 years older?
Call Governor Gianforte and Senator Daines to let them know you care about women.
Clark P Lee says
“What goes on in a person’s body is no one’s business besides that person and her doctor. ”
This statement should really be the beginning and end of it all. Period!
Why is it that the political mouth pieces that make the most noise about ‘overreaching government intervention’ are behind this misogynistic abuse of civil liberty.
Oh! I think I answered my own question.
