How could this be? We were robbed… or cheated out of our victory for the Bitterroot Community College! This smells of a Conservative plot to deny Liberal citizens out of what rightfully belongs to all of us…more education for our adult population! I demand a RECOUNT to prove that cheating must have taken place. I am sure that Theresa Manzella (R), in her position as the defender of secure voting rights, will agree. The count was 5237 FOR, and 7425 AGAINST…Recount, recount!
All this for the cost of a tank of gas.

How ironic that the president that all college students and profs voted for probably had more to do with this defeat than anyone else. Had this administration not repeatedly been telling us that a college education is apparently a bad investment, things might have been different. Biden is constantly telling us that college students can’t make enough money with their diploma to pay for their education. If it falls to us without a degree to pay for those who got one – who can blame us for not wanting to incur even more debt?

What nonsense you state. You were not robbed of anything. Voters saw a poorly planned community college effort, not enough students to make it financially viable, a trustee board who didn’t do their job, and a business plan that would not pass business 101. You should be thanking the voters who voted against the levy as they have saved you many dollars in the future that would be spent Without enough interest from those in the valley now to get an AA. Their own study that they had burning glass do states there is low interest in getting an AA degree from people in the valley. And if you want an education Pay for it yourself. Go online, drive to Missoula or go to Stevensville and the summit career center. Do you have lots of choices. Choose one!
