Paul Ludington: current Ward 1 town council and President of the council Paul has served the Town for many years, in several capacities He was a mayor, a town council member, on the Planning and Zoning Board, has worked for the Stevensville School system for many years
Paul knows the laws governing the town inside and out. He considers, investigates, asks pertinent questions. He votes based on facts. He is very intelligent, has a great sense of humor and knows how to work with the council, the mayor and the townspeople
When you consider who to vote for on your ballot for Ward 1, please consider Paul Ludington, who knows and understands the laws.
Leanna Rodabaugh says
The same can be said for the very capable Stacie Barker.
When you consider your vote, consider the major error Mr. Ludington made approving the Burnt Fork Estate development. And then voting consistently with anything the mayor wants. We need a council that thinks for themselves.
Sharon Gee says
Paul Ludington is an honest, intelligent, thoughtful man who even in the face of adversity strives to make the best decision even if it’s difficult.
I am certain Mr. Ludington carefully weighed all sides before making his decision.
I don’t believe that the Town of Stevensville can prevent developers from building once all major concerns and questions have been satisfactorily addressed by the developer.
Jim Sayre says
In one of the meetings on the Burnt Fork Estates development, Ludington stated that if there needed to be improvements to Logan Lane that Creekside owners should have to share the costs via a S.I.D. with the Burnt Fork Estates Developer. He stated that it wouldn ‘t be fair for just the Burnt Fork Estates developer to pay the costs by themselves. That sounded like an effort to scare Creekside Owners. The Mayor thought that was a great idea and then also included any other needed improvements in the costs that Creekside Owners should have to help the Burnt Fork Estates developer pay. That all sounds more like pushing the BFE development more than just insuring they get their development if they meet guidelines. Why single out Creekside Owners for an extra tax to reduce a developers (BFE) costs ? Watch the taped meeting. It’s right there for all to see. Ludington needs to go right out the door with the current mayor. Intimidation is not needed in government.
