People Lessons. That’s what I call them. The more I learned about people, the more I realized that I always wanted the best men and women working with me and for me.
That also holds true in politics. That’s why I am voting for Steve Gibson. He is running for Stevensville mayor for all the right reasons. He owns the right credentials with an excellent track record in finance, management, organizational and people skills as administrator of the Montana juvenile corrections youth services division. He managed a $20,000,000 annual budget with a work force of 200. He later served in the state legislature in key leadership positions.
As a 100-percent disabled Vietnam vet, I really appreciate the fact he was awarded the “Guardian of the Guard award” in recognition of outstanding support of the Montana National Guard.
Stevensville needs a mayor with this stellar record. Steve Gibson wants to increase the ability for the public to participate, rather than limit it as has occurred during the past several years. He opposes Town fee increases. One of his first orders of business as mayor will be to request the Council reduce the mayor’s salary which was doubled at the present mayor’s recommendation and during his tenure.
Please pay attention to the facts when you decide.
Steve for Stevi!!
