Macee Greenwood of Corvallis secured her first Class A state championship on Friday in Butte. She shot a 153 for the two days, seven strokes better than second place Alivia Webinger of Laurel. Aly Rose of Hamilton shot a 180 to finish in sixth place. Jasmine Oyler of Stevensville finished in 14th with a score of 194.
Laurel won the team scoring. Corvallis was sixth and Hamilton eighth in the girls’ team scoring.
The Hamilton boys finished in fifth place behind Whitefish, Billings Central, Laurel, and Livingston. Tanner Hanson shot a 160 to tie for 10th. Corvallis’ Luke Schlimgen shot a 157 to tie for fifth.
